What is Selank Nasal Spray?
Selank is a synthetic peptide derived from tuftsin, a naturally occurring immunomodulatory
tetrapeptide, with the addition of the Pro-Gly-Pro sequence to improve biological stability.
It was developed by Russian researchers and is registered in Russia as an anxiolytic
medicine in nasal form. The registered Russian formulation is used for anxiety-related
indications and has accumulated more than a decade of clinical use.
The mechanism of action appears to involve modulation of the GABAergic system together
